Radon gas is the second largest
cause of lung cancer in the United States and at least 25% of the homes I test have elevated levels of Radon Gas. The danger of Radon Gas is cumulative, so children and young adults are especially at risk. The mitigation of Radon Gas is very effective and surprisingly inexpensive. A little about me:
I've been a licensed residential contractor since 2003 and started my home inspection business in 2012. I enjoy working with home buyers, seller and realtors, discussing home construction and inspection. A little advice please: Relax. Yes, buying or selling a home can be a big, unnerving deal and you have a right to be apprehensive, but your realtor and your home inspector are dedicated to work in your best interest. We have the expertise and training to help you through each phase of buying or selling your home. My promise to you: I will inspect your home as if I or someone in my family plans to buy and live there. I will fully explain my findings making sure you understand, answer your questions, provide you with a professional, easy to understand report and provide free consulting by email or phone for as long as you own your home. "Ours was an older home and we had many concerns. Jack spent several hours leaving no stone unturned. After the inspection he sat down with us, went over his findings using many photos and answered our many questions. I definitely recommend him for your home inspection."

Is your new home on a private well?
Is the water safe to drink? More than 10% of the private well water I test contains fecal coliforms or Escherichia (E. coli) bacteria contamination. My well water testing is done by private state certified laboratories with results typically available in one to two days. Most bacteria contaminated wells can be disinfected with a chlorine shock treatment. But, it's a job best done by professionals. |
